The Sharp Ease: T-Spin 7"

Every once in a while there is a band that comes along that knocks your socks off. The Sharp Ease with their fuzzy blend of guitars and scratchy power-pop song structures are this band. After months of gaining popularity in the local club scene, Paloma and the Ease have finally produced something for you to enjoy at home. T-Spin features three spicy tracks that will get you all hot and bothered and keep your feet moving play, after play, after play. The A-side features the garagy pop song T-Spin and has some nice synth action from guest Issaac Parfrey to counter the crispy-fried sound of Sara Messer's guitar. Their venerable classic Lick Lick Lick is on the B-side along with my personal favorite, Rock n Roll Detox- a catchy number which rolls fuzzy melodies, and a flawless base-line from Dana B into a juicy anthem lauding the benefits of being a disciple of the rock n' roll lifestyle. The 7" delivers a quick taste of the savory Sharp Ease sound and will make you hungry of another bite the minute "T-Spin" blasts from your stereo.
